When people from Saint-Chéron come to Rotherfield, they stay with twinning association members. There is usually a welcome in the Village Hall or School Hall when they arrive on a Friday evening and then they disperse to their hosts’ homes. Usually a group visit is arranged for one day for both guests and hosts. On the other day guests are entertained by their hosts. This may include family time, visits, shopping- it’s entirely up to hosts in consultation with their guests. Some hosts invite another set of people along to eat to spread out the conversation and mealtimes. Everyone has a list of members and who is hosting whom, so it’s up to individuals to organise what they want.

The last visit from our twin town in France was from Friday 15th to Monday 18th May 2015 when about 15 visitors were received. Click here to view programme of events (pdf file - opens in new window)
